The Fire of Love

1. How very fierce is the onslaught of all the peoples and kindreds of the earth….  Rise and make manifest the truth of the verse.
2. I beseech Thee so to enrich me as to dispense with all save Thee and be made independent of anyone except Thyself. Rain down, then, upon me, out of the clouds of Thy bounty, that which shall profiteth me, in every world of Thy worlds.
3. On this journey the wayfarer dwells in every abode, however humble.
4. The fire of love is set ablaze. And when the fire of is ablaze, it burnt to ashes the harvest of reason.
5. Only those who are initiated into the Divine Mysteries can comprehend the melodies uttered by the bird of heaven. It is therefore incumbent on everyone to seek enlightenment from the illumined in heart. 
6. Thou art one in Thine own self, one in Thy cause, and one in Thy revelation. Illumine, O my Lord, the eyes of Thy servants, and brighten their hearts with the splendors of the light of Thy knowledge.
7. Create in me a pure heart, O my God, and renew the tranquil conscience within me, O my Hope.   
8. Is there any remover of difficulties save God? Say, Praise be God. He is God. All are His servants and all abide by His bidding.
