Plato said, "Knowledge of the soul is the only universal truth, and the only wisdom. The soul begins its life in stark purity, with no attributes, no imperfections. The natural world is the soul's spiritual birthplace for the world to come. Every religious definition of the soul depicts an elemental spirit that transcends death and progresses through all eternity.
