Grant Me Thy Pardon and Have Mercy Upon Me

1. Of all who are in heaven and on earth, none can withstand the operation of thy sovereign will.
2. Forgive the sins of my loving mother. Pardon her shortcomings. Cast upon her the glance of thy gracious providence and enable her to gain admittance onto Thy kingdom. O God, from the earliest days of my life, she educated and nurtured me, me, yet I did not recompense her for toil and labors.
3. Grant me thy pardon and have mercy upon me.
4. Lauded be Thy name, O my God, and the God of all things… Suffer me not, I implore Thee, to be kept back from the ocean of Thy tender mercies, nor to be far removed from the shores of nearness to Thee.
5. I testify that everything other than Thee is Thy creation, and is held in the hollow of Thy hand.
6. O Divine Providence, awaken and make me conscious, cause me to detach from all save thee, and captivate me by Thy love and beauty.
7. Perplexing difficulties have arisen, and formidable obstacles have appeared. O Lord, remove these difficulties, and show forth the evidences of Thy might and power.
8. I am the one who is in misery…behold me, clinging to thy name… Hold Thou my hand with thy hand of Thy power…and cleanse me that is all that is errant unto Thee.
9. Bestow heavenly confirmation on this daughter of the Kingdom, and graciously aid her that she may be firm and steadfast in thy cause.
10. I have arisen this morning by Thy grace, O my God, and left my home trusting wholly in Thee, committing myself to Thy care. Send down upon me out of the heavens of Thy mercy  a blessing from Thy side.
