Grace

1. Graciously look upon thy servant, humble and lowly at thy door, with the glances of the eye of thy mercy, and immerse him in the ocean of thy eternal grace.
2. Graciously inspire me, O my God, through thy grace and bounty, Thy glory and majesty, and Thy dominion and grandeur, for no one all-knowing and almighty can I find beside Thee.
3. O peerless Lord, praised be Thou for having kindled that light in the glass of the Concourse on High, and for having guided that bird of faithfulness to the nest of the Abha kingdom.
4. I know not, O my God, what the fire is which Thou didst kindle in Thy land, earth can never cloud its splendor nor water quench its flame.
5. Free me from the assaults of passion and desire. Break off from me the shackles of this nether world.
6. Out of the wastes of nothingness, with the clay of My Command, I made thee to appear, and have ordained for thy training every atom in existence.
7. O my Lord, make Thy beauty to be my food and Thy presence my drink, and Thy pleasure my hope, and praise of Thee my action, and remembrance of Thee my companion.
8. Thou seest me, O my Lord, with my face turned toward the heavens of Thy bounty, and the ocean of thy favor.... I ask Thee...to grant me Thy pardon and to have mercy upon me.
9. I was heedless, Thou didst awaken me. I had turned back from Thee, Thou didst graciously aid me to turn towards thee.
10. This is one globe, one land, one country. God did not divide it into national boundaries...Why should we make such divisions ourselves?
